Whoops Update

Because it did not sound like he pulled his central line out of its location to the clinic (they said we'd see a thicker part at the entrance), they had him get an xray first to just be sure.

The xray was fine (see photos at flickr at the shirt I put him in today to go.. I didn't even dawn on me until later).

At clinic the same thing happened,, no in or out on the line. They put some agent in there to try to dissolve anything thats clotted.. nothing still.
After lots of trying of things, they then decided to move his clamp a bit and noticed it was pretty well indented in that area. They put in more solvent stuff and massaged it, and voila! His central line is working again.

One thing we had no idea about is that his superior or inferior vena cava (forget which one they said now.. will correct later) is on the opposite side that it would normally be. Odd since we don't recall ever being told that when he had heart surgery at 4 months old. We do recall the surgeon who put the line in mention something about this weird anatomy in there, which is why it took longer than usual to put the line in surgically so now that question is answered.

Oliver was great at his xray and at the clinic. He is in such a good mood now. Slow and careful on his feet still but happy.
