So Oliver is back in the hospital. On Saturday he came down with a fever so the Dr had us bring him in for blood tests and antibiotics. His ANC is still very low so we have to treat any sign of infection very carefully. While we were here, we noticed that he has some sores in his mouth which is an expected side effect of the chemo. They think that the sores are the cause of the infection. He is still recovering from the steroids and so is still moody which doesn't make this any easier. So we are going to be here until his ANC gets back up around 500. Of course then he will be close to starting the next round of chemo and then we will probably be right back here.
