Oliver's lab showed his WBC is at 1.0 (up from .7 on Friday), however his neutrophils were only at 42% making his ANC at 420 (they were 441 on Friday).
We didn't get the labs till later after he went to school, however. He should have stayed home today.
We will keep him home tomorrow as he should be ok by Wednesday (he has a lot of monos showing which generally turn into what we need).
His RBC is at 3.33
HBG at 10.7
and Platelets doing great at 190K
He was not happy to be left at school this morning but who can blame him after not being there since the Thursday a week ago. They said he warmed up and ate well. He stayed dry at school, but would not go at school. We went as soon as we got home of course.
His cough is very infrequent now. He's finally taking to the breathing treatment better (actually putting it into his mouth rather than just letting us blow it at him). He's getting good sleep at night and catching up with his appetite slowly but surely. He had lost about 3 pounds in total (one of those from him being sick in February to now, and the other 2 while in the hospital).
All in time of course. We'll check counts again on Wednesday like I said.
