Oliver's ANC is at 3942 this morning. His WBC is actually in the normal range at 5.4 (ANC Is 73%).
His RBC did go down some to 3.49 with an HGB at 10.7 (down as well from last week).
Platelets are excellent at 291K
We have an appointment this afternoon after school (normal monthly check up).
Last week on Wednesday, Oliver started coughing in his sleep. It was more of a gag cough that you'd make because your draining from your nasal area. He woke up with crusty face and has been a booger blower since. We did do the nebulizer that day before bed and he hasn't seemed to be coughing much at all. It mostly seems like a cough that happens because of all the nose issues only. I too have picked up the nasal issues, with more a cough than Oliver, however. Miles was just getting over whatever he had the weekend prior that was giving him low grade fevers with cough and runny nose.
Hopefully its just that.. a mild cold and nothing more comes of it. His oral chemo dose is pretty low right now and with the great WBC numbers, should hopefully be good to go (could also be false high due to his body creating more fighting power despite the drugs, etc).
Otherwise he has been fine. Weather has been fantastic so we've been trying to get outside more during school break last week. We did spend quite a bit of time packing things up in our house as we get ready to move out for the big construction project on our house. We are adding on, and in the process, redoing our foundation, windows, roof, etc etc. Exciting stuff happening along with the bigger exciting things (Oliver almost done with his treatments, and new baby boy coming).
I can't believe it has been 2 years since he was first diagnosed and we only have just over 2 months left to go! Hopefully we can stay as healthy as possible during this last bout and the only upcoming hospital stay is for the birth of the new baby.
We'll check his counts again next week.
Until then...
