Oliver's WBC today is at 2.2 with an ANC of 1342 (61%)
His RBC is at 3.66
HGB 11.9
and Platelets 172K
I am not sure if they will have him go to 50% of the dose or not until they call later today since his counts seem to be doing fine right now.
Oliver starts school on Wednesday! While we are so excited for him, I can't help but feel all the usual anxieties that go along with him starting up something/somewhere new where I am not there with him.
Will he be safe? That is always the biggest one as I am sure with everyone. Aside from all the other usuals, being he will be with a normal kindergarten class part of the day, what will it be like for his ongoing potty training. These kids were all trained years ago. Will they tease him when they see he wears diapers or pull-ups or still doesn't know he can stand to go. We are making great strides with the training and I am hoping this is our year. I hope that the influence of peers helps him along his way.
He is pretty excited to be going to school from what I can gather.
I'm sure the anxieties will be muted this time next week. I'll keep you posted as we'll check labs again in a week. Until then!
