We got discharged this morning. Oliver is at his grandma's house with Miles so I can get some sleep since it was pretty nonexistent for me last night but I need to update you all first.
They took him off the Oxygen later on to see how he'd do, and he was much better (while sleeping) and the pertussis test came back neg (which we expected). On 2 oral antibiotics now and a follow up visit this Friday (we had anyway for the monthly check up). He seems to be feeling much better, still coughs from time to time and is a bit weak on his legs (although he's getting them quickly back into motion).
His counts this morning showed his WBC went down to 1.1 and his ANC only at 560 now! Yikes!..
I'll find out when we check again as we were given the go ahead to go on our trip next week. They did start his chemo oral meds back up on Wednesday since his ANC was then (at 50% though). If he ends up neutrapenic at the last minute end of the week, then we'll have to try to post pone our trip? Or cancel it all together. Guess we'll see.
