I just realized I forgot to update on Tuesday as we did a blood draw that morning.
It showed his ANC had dipped below 500 again while all the other numbers went slightly up. They took him off the chemo meds again and we'll check labs tomorrow.
If he gets back up to 750 tomorrow with his ANC, he will go back on the chemo meds at 1/2 of what he left off at, so since he was already at 1/2 dose, he will be only taking 25% of his normal dose for a few weeks.
He also sees Oncology tomorrow for a follow up so with the counts and follow up, we'll then see if we can go on this trip coming Monday for sure.
He's doing much better. He still has a cough but its very infrequent but still very productive.
We finished off one antibiotic the other day, but still have the other going with Monday being the last day of them.
Make-A-Wish did come visit us in the hospital on Sunday with all our details. Its going to be fun I think as long as we can go. The counts are the main qualifier on what they are tomorrow.
My sister and her kids left yesterday. We all went to the school playground (where Oliver will be going to school) to play for a bit before lunch then they had to take off to the airport to fly back to Houston. No one was at the playground so it was alright for Oliver to play, just lots of hand washing and sanitizing. His ANC was 455 on Tuesday, but if it were very low I'd not let him go. He had fun playing with them one last time as well as Miles.
Had to cancel after rescheduling twice to have their pictures done. Its going to be a wash for now. I did get some fun pictures of Miles for his 1st birthday.
We are not going to reschedule their birthday parties, however. We'll just have to make next year super-super mega-ultimate fantasgreat! Next year a month before his birthday he finishes his chemo and should have his broviac removed as well by then! It can be all sorts of fun!
I'll update tomorrow afternoon after his visit, but will update the chart once I have the numbers (should be late morning as long as they do it quickly when Dan drops it off on his way to work).
