We did do a count check last week on Monday that I didn't post about as we were on our way to Phoenix. We had planned to leave on the Saturday before but were all sick and wanted to see if Monday would be better. Labs were ok so we took the trip even though we still had some illness.
We spent most of the time there just hanging out at my moms house for a visit. My mom and sister have not seen Oliver or Dan since Miles was born. Everyone is feeling much butter. Miles is completely mended. I have the lingering occasional cough that will last for weeks as usual. Oliver still has a random cough and slight runny nose. While Dan was the only one who seemed to avoid the bigger issues (he first felt bad for a day before anyone else got sick), he seems to have a sinus issue now that started while in Phoenix but is getting better.
Hopefully things will be 'clear' soon for everyone!
We did a count check today:
WBC 2.2 with an ANC of 1584 (72%)
RBC 4.32 (Normal range)
HGB 13.2 (Normal range)
Platelets 246K (Normal range)
No increase on meds just yet. He has his monthly Oncology check up this Wednesday.
Still doing great with the potty training. Had a slight accident on the airplane on the way there (just after we landed he really had to go but was afraid of the bathroom, and once I got him in there and ready, he just started going before I got him on the actual toilet seat.)
We signed him up for Challenger Little League in Pinole. Its a bit farther than we'd like to head out to for him to play, but the local and adjoining city leagues for the Challenger division around here don't start till age 7 where this one starts at age 5. There are no practices, just a game each week and its not about keeping score, etc. Its just so the kids can have fun on the field. Opening day is next weekend. We will do a meet and greet this weekend. Hopefully he is into it. We still need to find him a glove (after we figure out which hand he needs one for since he is still not 100% dominant on a hand yet). His hands are smaller than average too so not sure if they will all be too big for him.
I guess we'll see how it all goes.
We'll check his counts again sometime next week.
