Sorry folks, I don't have time to look up the numbers from this weeks lab draw to post but all were excellent!
Check up went well, and Dan said he almost let them do the blood draw freely (meaning without the screaming and kicking and holding before the needle is about to go in... once they actually stick him he calms down and celebrates!). He was seen on Monday, but we have moved back into our house Sunday and have been busy busy getting settled in with the boys.
They are almost done with the work and final inspection should be next week. After today all that should be left is exterior painting and general clean up outside with maybe some fixes or touch ups of things as we spot them. Its been great having the extra needed space. Oliver and Miles still share a room and the other bedroom is going to be their play room (and guest room when needed). Our old living room is now what we call the front room, and is pretty empty but we hope to eventually turn that into a dining/sitting room. Our couch isnt in yet so its just single chairs in the new family room for now but its such a great space now.
Grant got pretty used to his new digs upstairs in the 'study' that is off our new master bedroom. First nap after move in was a bit tough, but then he just got back into the swing of things in his new space. Next is to work on getting the backyard usable again!
Walking to/from school is so much nicer and quicker and easier. I love it! They love it!
In other quick news, Oliver shared in front of the class for the first time the other day. Usually he doesnt want to participate in those kinds of activities and he even said no when asked, but then he got up to the front. It was something about what you want to be when you grow up. He said 'a diver' so that he could look for sea creatures. He even called on peers with their hands raised by name for their questions to ask him. So proud of him!
Alrighty then, back to getting things organized and clean before we bring more stuff over from my inlaws this weekend.
