Count check from Friday and just a general update on things

Sorry, realized I forgot to post his counts from Friday.

Oliver's WBC is at 2.5 with an ANC of 1850 (74%).
RBC 4.1
HGB 12.2
and Platelets at 178K

He seems to be fine still so hopefully his body was able to avoid getting sick and that was the reason for the unusually high counts on Monday. I have seemed to pick up something that seems to be going away now so maybe it was the same thing? Everyone else seems to be healthy at the moment, though there are always people sick at school.

Oliver is starting to go at the school potty at least once daily. He still has accidents and still won't initiate  (even at home lately), but at least we just keep inching forward. Today he stayed dry all day at school and went on the potty the last attempt of the day. He is really trying.  We also had his IEP meeting on Friday in trying to change his inclusion time. Everyone seemed to agree he would benefit more from being in the general ed class more with the aide, but still get pulled out as needed to help him on things, plus of course speech therapy, occupational therapy, and Adaptive PE. I think it came out to around 27% of special pull out time vs the rest being in general ed K class. This will probably start off at the new year after break.

This weekend Dan put up the tree with the boys. I keep picking up ornaments of course, and some get their hook or loop or whatever its connected to completely yanked off so eventually the bottom of the tree just might be bare (thanks to Miles :)  ) -  Dan took the boys to a crab feed party that his parents attended as well, and some of Olivers friends so a great time was had. I had the house all to myself as Saturday was filled with being sick and being sick (This cold, plus nausea). The good news is I haven't felt nauseous since that day so maybe that is started to go away (and If I had to say, it was the worst of that feeling, on top of the cold symptoms).

Friday we also received a call from the genetics department regarding the CVS test on our current pregnancy. The test came out fine, the correct pairs/numbers of chromosomes.. and for all those wondering, this one is a boy as well.  We kind of had a feeling that would be it, but just wanted to make sure he was healthy in this way. We will be entering our 13th week on Wednesday so nearly into the 2nd trimester.

We will probably check Oliver's counts on Thursday so look for an update later on this week.
Until then...
