Olivers WBC is at .8 today with an ANC if 392
This means no oral chemo medications still, and home from school to make sure he isn't exposed to any illness.
His hemoglobin and platelets are normal.
He has been talking about school as he is obviously missing it :(
We are just trying to keep him safe and germ free during this slump.
We'll check counts again on Monday. Even if his next cycle comes to start, he still starts it no matter what his numbers are since the chemo he receives via IV does not deplete counts (only slows the process down a little) so its always going to be the 12 week cycles. That is coming up April 23rd. That means 5 days of the steroid again! However it means one cycle down and 4 or 5 more to go (I'm not quite sure how many he gets exactly but will find out at his next appointment.
In other whats been going on around the house news....Miles is clapping and belly crawling all over the house. He loves to eat the baby puffs himself during meals as well. Still no teeth though! (he will be 8 months on the 1st).
Oliver has grown! I noticed at his appointment monday when they measure how tall he is, its totally in a different number range so I measured him at home on our wall where we mark him, and since October he's grown nearly 2 inches! He's also gone up in weight, mostly because of this growth, but he has been eating quite a lot lately too!
I had to give him his first haircut as well as the sides and back where getting too shabby. Just took the clipper and buzzed those in.
Until Monday - Have a great weekend!
