Happy Friday

Oliver saw his Oncologist on Monday. We did have labs then which I forgot to post about.
On Monday his WBC was 1.5 with his ANC at around 1000
HIs reds were down slightly as well other than his platelets still being well into normal.

We did a check today and his WBC is 2.8 with an ANC of 2520
RBC went up slight from Monday to 3.37 and HGB went up to 10.7
Platelets are 216K which is excellent.
His ANC is high, but it could still be from his cold he had or he is getting some other illness his body is fighting with.

We will check again Thursday next week. He seems fine otherwise, he is eating a lot lately, enjoying school, etc.
Hopefully his numbers stay good enough that we can go to Hawaii this month with the family. We are all looking forward to some relaxing down time with an abundant supply of babysitters!

For those wondering, the people at HGTV finally got back to us and no, our house did not get picked for their Curb Appeal show. We kind of figured at this point since back in October they said we'd find out 'in about a month' which turned into almost 5? We had a feeling we were a 'if nothing better comes a long' option. She said our house just wasn't the right fit for the show. Its small, yes. Oh well!
But, good things have happened. Dan is about to start his new job on Monday. We will have to pay for cobra coverage for 90 days but having a good salary counter-acts that over the long haul since I am not working. And.. hopefully we'll be able to start some home projects as well, like adding on to our house (a master bedroom with bathroom and a little extra living space in the kitchen/back area).
The front will still have to wait even longer however since more space is priority.

Miles is growing as fast as babies grow. He just turned 7 months old, is wearing 12 month clothes, and is on the verge of crawling. He is a master at pivoting, and every now and then gets on all fours accidentally inching forward with the rocking. Soon he will be running a muck around the house.

We registered Oliver for kindergarten. We are still not sure what school his program will be at, but its still exciting to us that he is starting next year! His Make-A-Wish trip is planned in August. We are going to San Diego area for Lego-land, Sea World, and the San Diego Zoo - should be lots of fun before he starts school!

Until next week! Enjoy!
