Olivers ANC is even lower at 112 however, his total WBC went up from 1.2 to 1.4 and Red counts are just into normal range.
They won't delay him any longer though and he will have his spinal tomorrow, but at clinic he will not get one of the drugs. They are going to check his blood counts tomorrow and if there is a chance his ANC goes above 500, he will get that drug, only smaller dosage.
He will still also then get his treatment next week on Thursday regardless of his counts, but again, may or may not include the one drug.
This is great news so we stay on schedule, only it may keep his counts from rising slower. The other IV drug (vincristine) does not deplete counts, only slows them down.
We just have to make sure he stays healthy since his system is still compromised.
He had a visit from his OT today which went pretty well. We all really can't wait until he can start going back to school.
Not sure what day we check counts between now and Wednesday (if we do), otherwise I'll update then.
