Not much new going on other than waiting for Tomorrows blood draw to check his numbers. We anticipate them to be good by this point that he will start treatment on Wednesday. It's been a week now since the one drug he was taking and almost 3 weeks since he had any chemo directly (spinal) that he's got a fuzz growing on his bald head. However, the chemo he will receive this round will slow that growth and further continue what is left of his hair to fall out.
Oliver continues to be a silly happy little man. He is the first to wake up every morning and is the most energetic and loud. We've been prepping him that his 4th birthday is coming up (exactly in one month) and telling him he will be 4 (he knows how to show it on his fingers). When he does catch on, he requests cupcakes. Since we won't be able to plan a normal birthday party for him this year for two reasons (can't predict his health or counts, or that his baby brother is actually due on his birthday as well (August 4th), we've created an amazon wish list for those who've asked about wanting to get him something for his birthday. The link is to the right with all the others. Most are DVD's of his favorite shows we don't yet have as we will be cutting off our TV service and going to the HD receiver only at the end of the month to save a little. Others are toy ideas that he's shown interest in or would be interested in. The items do not have to be purchased from the link, but it gives you an idea of things we'd know he would want.
I still can't believe my baby is going to be 4 years old!
I'll try and make sure to get some new pics up of him in the next few days. He's been anti camera lately so we end up getting mad grumpy faces when I pull out the camera to snap anything and have given up for a bit. I'll go for the sneak attack when I am able to.
