Olivers counts took a huge dive from Monday.
His WBC today is at 1.0 with an ANC of only 620
He is nearly neutropenic (500 or below).
His RBC is at 3.47
HGB at 10.8
Platelets at 187K
(all above about the same as Monday)
We'll have to assume his counts are going down for now. He had his weekly chemo med last night with his normal daily so my guess is that he'll be neutropenic this weekend.
As a precaution we'll keep him from school Monday until we get lab results for that day. We can try to get those in as soon as the lab opens so we can maybe find out right as school is to start.
He appears to be doing fine so far. School is going great. This morning when I went to go drop him off, all the 8 kids who are late arrivers for his regular K class run up to him to say hello from the tot playground. It melts my heart. I feel bad that he can't join them in waiting to go into that class since he starts out in his special day class.
