Todays count checks and one last reminder

Oliver's WBC stayed at .6 as it was on Friday. His ANC went up slightly from 24 to 84 (which either way is like having no infection fighting cells). His red blood counts all went up slightly, but are all below normal still aside from his platelets making it back into range.

RBC 3.64
Hgb 10.7
Hematocrit 30.9
Platelets 154K

He has been very tired, and develops what look like red bags under his eyes near nap time or bed time. He has them now and he just decided to go to bed on his own. Its about 1.5-2 hours before I even tell him its nap time. The steroid doesn't help with all this, but I think he gets too tired to be moody at times. We check his blood again on Thursday. I am glad they are not making us stay in the hospital during this low ANC period. We are just keeping him as safe as possible at home for this period. I'll update again on Thursday with his counts.

One last reminder that this weekend is the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk which benefits the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. We are not able to attend, but are participating by holding a fundraising page taking donations. Please see the link to our fundraising page in the links sections to the right of the page and contribute what you can. Even 5$ goes a long way! Thanks again to everyone for their continued support through the years for this event. Please pass the link onto your friends and family that you think might want to donate as well. Thank you!!
