This boy goes to Oliver's school and has had a relapse of AML and is in dire need of a bone marrow donor. Because he is 1/2 japanese and 1/2 german, it is becoming difficult to find a match for him.
It is more likely someone who is mixed asian may be a match.
We need to spread this fast. Its been 2 months of drives and still no match. Dan registered (he is 1/2 japanese) back when Oliver was diagnosed but did not come up as a match. I also registered at a drive but do not match, however, we could match someone else in the future who may need the same thing.

Onto this months update.
Oliver had his appointment yesterday afternoon.
All numbers are good, he is good, and again.. nothing really eventful on that front which is what we like!
Life update?
Sure….
Oliver has one more week of school left. This year has flown by. He will attend extended school year for 4 weeks after a week off when school ends. He is doing great, learning to read and write. He loves to try to read anything he can.
Miles is working on his potty training skills. Its been slow going, but it is not going to take 2 years as it did with Oliver (however, cancer made that take a back seat to begin with. One nice thing about when he did finally get it was he had learned control so we weren't constantly going to the bathroom every hour where ever we were. That is going to be a new thing for us, and having 3 boys, may be a slight challenge. He is really keen about wanting to go to "Miles' school" which he starts in the fall, so we tell him he has to wear underwear there. They will hold a few play dates over the summer at the school so hopefully that will seal the deal. He is also growing and learning fast!
Grant is about to turn ONE next week! Hard to believe! He just started taking steps between or off things last week. We thought he'd take longer due to the fact he is huge (outgrowing 18-24 month clothing!) Now that he is very active, we think he is starting the 'thinning out' time period and holding steady at the 26lbs mark. He has his check up on his birthday so we'll find out where he is on the charts (and if his head has remained in the 100% since birth).
Other than that, things are great. I post pictures on flickr often so check there to see how we've all been. :)
Next check is into July, then we go to every other month after that!
Have a great weekend!
